The collaboration of MGI-COET with the IIT Bombay in the form of AAQ provides an opportunity to the students to ask IIT Bombay Professors their conceptual doubts that they have in the fields of engineering and science. A panel of instructors from IIT Bombay are available at a designated time and tries to answer any question/doubts poised offline on the forum, http://ask.co-learn.in/ as well as during the live sessions, are clarified by the panel members. The offline recorded sessions are archived and are made available to the learners on the project’s website and through DVDs where the entire activity is free and open source. The live sessions are held on every Thursday and Friday during 4:00-5:00 p.m. in the field Engineering.
Through Ask a Question we provide an opportunity for the learners to bridge, to get direct face to face interaction with IIT Bombay faculties to get authentic clarification of their quires. This eliminates geographical constrains of the learner as well as experts, thus, enabling in knowledge building.
The basic objective of the Activity is to make the IIT knowledge base available to the students through online interactive conceptual questions answer session through video on demand and in the form of CD/DVD sets.
