To resolve the agricultural electricity issues in Maharashtra, MSEDCL undertake a project which was then given to CTARA department of IIT Bombay. For this project, IIT Bombay made collaboration with different colleges from different regions. From Amravati region only Mauli group of institutions college of Engineering and Technology, shegaon was selected for the project. The project was on “Study to examine agriculture electricity consumption in Maharashtra” and it was conducted by MGI-COET, Shegaon from 27/02/16 to 22/04/16 . The project conducted as a joint endeavor of CTARA, IIT Bombay, Mumbai and MG-ICOET shegaon.The Electrical Engineering Department MGI-COET, Shegaon has participated in the IIT project work.
CTARA, IIT Bombay appreciated the work done by Electrical Department of MGI-COET, Shegaon by providing a certificate to all participated students, faculties and HOD. Electrical department completed the project effectively in very short duration of time. This is one of the achievements in power sector of MGI-COET, Shegaon.
